Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes and manufacturing methods from inception through start-up and certification, ensuring quality output across operations.
• Research and design fabrication techniques, tools, fixtures, and systems, evaluating product designs for manufacturability and suggesting adjustments to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Solve process and production issues through data analysis, experimentation, and collaboration with design, engineering, and production teams.
• Perform risk assessments and implement techniques for improved process control, reducing deviations.
• Analyze workflow, space requirements, equipment layout, and manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, scalability, and cost reduction.
• Provide detailed process documentation, operating instructions, and technical support, ensuring all team members have the right information to meet customer and project targets.
• Recommend improvement plans with cost estimates and innovative solutions, partnering with sales and customers to exceed expectations and build confidence in our brand.
• Design, test, train, and upgrade systems, tools, and equipment, collaborating globally to integrate best practices and maintain reproducibility across the value chain.
• Manage and support multiple concurrent projects, organizing team meetings to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives that deliver wide-ranging benefits.
• Investigate cost-reduction opportunities and develop routines to improve production rates and sustainability, balancing quality, quantity, and timing for optimal value.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical engineering, polymer science, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing, including responsibility extrusion and polymer science knowledge.
• Preferred knowledge of a manufacturing tool shop related to design, managing, procuring, and maintenance of tools.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Power BI, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and process optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Project management experience, with ability to work within budgets and meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks and basic business development principles.
